Dr. Trina Kennedy, ND
I’m a licensed Naturopathic Doctor passionate about utilizing evidence informed natural therapies for improving and optimizing health.
I completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition from St. Francis Xavier University and a diploma in Holistic Nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition where my passion for holistic medicine was ignited. I went on to attend the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, completing a four year post graduate Doctor of Naturopathy Degree (ND). During my internship year I completed shifts at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic and the CCNM-Integrative Cancer Centre where I was part of a hand selected team working with patients during all stages of cancer care.
I maintain a general family practice with a focus in health optimization, healthy aging and longevity. I love working with other health care practitioners as I feel that collaborative care delivers the best results.
With my strong background in clinical nutrition I love working with my patients on the foundations of health - nutrition, exercise and healthy lifestyle habits. I also enjoy utilizing nutraceutical supplementation, botanical medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture to provide extra support to the foundation. I don’t believe in a “one size fits all” model and work to develop individualized treatment plans for each and every one of my patients.
I’m an active member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors (CAND) the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND) and am in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO).
When I'm not working with my patients to achieve their best health I can be found on the golf course, in the gym or spin studio, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
